I am a law and criminology graduate with 14 years of experience working in mental health services, including supporting individuals with severe mental illness and personality disorders. Alongside my professional background, I am also a clinical hypnotherapist.
Through my clinical exposure and personal experience with abusive relational dynamics, I developed a focused interest in narcissistic behaviour, abuse patterns, and recovery processes.
My Mission
My mission is to educate and support understanding of narcissistic abuse and related relational trauma.
Background & Perspective
I was raised in a family environment where dysfunctional and harmful behavioural patterns were present, which influenced my early understanding of relationships. Over time, I experienced multiple interpersonal relationships that, in hindsight, reflected similar patterns.
Despite my professional work in mental health, it was not until later personal research into narcissistic behaviour that I began to fully connect these experiences and understand them more clearly.
Working clinically with people experiencing personality disorders gave me one perspective, while personal experience provided another. This combination gives me a unique perspective, which informs my writing and analysis.
