Narcissists LOVE Drama, Conflict And Attention

As you’re probably aware, narcissists LOVE drama and conflict. When things are peaceful and in harmony, they often antagonise to create trouble. Then sit back and watch the drama unfold.

Narcissists are quickly bored when things are calm and peaceful. And they welcome anything that disrupts this pattern.

Narcissists also LOVE attention. They love being adored and told how great they are. They’re practically bottomless pits for attention.

And if they can’t get positive attention, they’re happy to take negative attention. Yes, they actually WANT to be attacked verbally. To narcissists, this is better than no attention.

If you go on the attack, the narcissist wins. They love the drama of a good fight. And if it’s aimed at them, they’re centre of attention. Win-win!

Don’t Feed Narcissists

By attacking the narcissist, you’re feeding them. You’re giving them the drama and conflict they desire. As well as the attention they crave.

And you’re dragged into their toxic world of conflict and drama. Which is stressful and damaging for you. And what have YOU gained?

If you attack a narcissist, they also have ammo to smear you. And will happily go round telling people how badly you treat them. Of course they won’t explain how they treat you, and why you’re acting this way.

They’ll paint a picture of you being mean for no reason. And use your attacks as proof it wasn’t their fault. Narcissists are always looking for ways to get off the hook. Attacking them helps them appear like the victim. And they’ll grab this opportunity with both hands.

Focus On YOU

That’s why I always say the best way to get back at a narcissist is to NOT get back at them. Don’t feed them. And don’t get dragged into their toxic world.

Ignore them. Go no contact. And don’t get involved in their childish games. Then they have no attention, no drama, and no ammo to use against you.

Instead focus on you. Get back in touch with old friends and family. Join a gym. Enrol on a college course. Do positive things to improve yourself and your life.

This benefits you more than putting your energy into getting at them. Which only feeds them anyway.

Final Thoughts

Narcissists expect you to be sobbing uncontrollable about the loss of their fabulous selves. And expect you to be angry. That’s what they want. And by attacking them, you’re showing they matter.

The real way to get to back at a narcissist is to ignore them. Live a better life without them.

The world will see you’re happier, healthier, and more successful once they’re out your life. And the narcissist will see this too. Believe me, they hate this much more than being attacked.

You living an improved life without them challenges their delusions of superiority. Because if they’re as great as they think they are, you should be a gibbering wreck.

Hold your head up high and lead a fulfilling life. You’ll soon realise how much better it is without the narcissist. And sadly for them, they’ll realise this too.
